A large amount of time during my formative years was spent listening obsessively to Alkaline Trio (from the age of 14 to 16).
Obviously I listened to other artists, with whom I was also obsessed; music was and continues to be a huge part of my life. However, this band is representative of the anger, pessimism and dark imagery pertaining to my point: it's no surprise that I've been described as 'a glass half empty kinda person'.
