Pride and Prejudice

He walks onto the bus shakily and takes longer than most to move.
A girl gives him her seat and goes to the back of the bus.
He starts mumbling angrily at her as she walks away.
Obviously his pride has been bruised.
She does not respond, he sits down regardless and everyone pretends not to notice.
